Welcome to that time of the year that I lovingly call "die Wochen des Wahnsinns" (which translates to "the weeks of madness"). Due to this, you may have guessed, there was no blog post yesterday. Due to this, there will also be no blogposts for a while -   let's say, well, until November 23. Why? Because I will be going to have a few days off now in preparation to the following things, then I will have a workshop about tailoring in the later 14th century, then there will be the European Textile Forum, and then another workshop, that time at a conference in Berlin.

And then I will want a few days to breathe.

Until then, I leave you with this image of half the amount of clamps I will be packing - luckily not for the things where I'll be travelling by train, but only to the Textile Forum:

They are, still, one of the most versatile tools that I know for doing all kinds of work, including (and somewhat especially) textile stuff. So if you ever wonder about what you could need... I recommend good, strong one-hand clamps.
