Shipping and handling costs are calculated according to the weight of goods, with some amendments regarding the size of the goods. In case the shipping company charges crisis surcharges, these are added to the basic shipping prices listed here.

For packages to a German address, costs are

2.10 € for a single knitting pattern
4.80 € for a weight less than 450 g
7.10 € for a weight more than 450 g and less than 1,600 g
9.50 € for a weight more than 1,600 g and less than 4,800 g
14 € for a weight more than 4,800 g and less than 9,500 g
20 € for a weight more than 9,500 g

For goods that measure more than 9.5 cm in all three dimensions, shipping cost is at least 7.10 € regardless of weight. For goods with a length of more than 60 cm, costs are 9.50 € independent of actual weight. Orders with a value of more than 500 EUR are shipped with an insurance according to the value of the goods up to a maximum of 2,500,- EUR.

Shipping and handling costs to an address in the EU (except Finland and Sweden) are

4.20 € for a single knitting pattern
8.00 € for a weight less than 300 g
15.50 € for a weight more than 300 g and less than 1,600 g
21.50 € for a weight more than 1,600 g and less than 4,500 g
25.50 € for a weight more than 4,500 g and less than 9,500 g
38.00 € for a weight more than 9,500 g

Due to changed regulations regarding packaging, shipping to Austria is done exclusively with returnable packaging. The deposit on the packaging is listed in the invoice. It will be paid back in cash if the packaging is returned to the company in Erlangen or at an event. If you send back the packaging in the post (paying the postage fees yourself), it will be paid back via bank transfer.

For Finland and Sweden, shipping costs are:

24 € for a weight more than 300 g and less than 3 kg
28 € for a weight more than 3 kg and less than 6 kg
36 € for a weight more than 6 kg

25 € for a weight more than 400 g and less than 8 kg
40 € for a weight more than 8 kg and less than 15 kg
75 € for a weight more than 15 kg

Shipping and handling costs to USA are:

35 € for a weight more than 400 g and less than 1,600 g
50 € for a weight more than 1,600 g and less than 5,000 g

For EU, the USA, and Switzerland, for goods with a length of 60 cm or more, shipping and handling is in "more than 400 g" tier even if weight is lower than 400 g.

For goods with a length of more than 60 cm, shipping costs for a weight higher than 1,600 g to 5,000 g are calculated independent of the actual weight of the goods.

In addition to sending goods, you have the possibility to order and then collect your goods in person; collecting your goods is possible either in Erlangen or at an event. Packaging of your ordered goods is in cardboard boxes, sealed with paper tape. For securing the goods inside the box, bubble wrap or air cushions may be used; these are always re-used materials and never new.
