A strick is the traditional way of keeping the long fibres of linen or hemp until they are spun into yarn. The stricks offered here are approximately 200g in weight. They can be spun into yarn as is or, for an even higher quality, heckled on a fine comb once more.

The fibres are then dressed onto a distaff and spun dry or wet.
