Valais Blacknose sheep have a white wool with rather long staples, a beautiful shine and well-defined locks. The individual fibres are smooth and strong.
Valais Blacknose sheep are hardy mountain sheep and can be traced back at least to the 16 th century. Today, they are a rare breed.
The wool has been washed very gently and thus still contains a little lanolin. After washing and drying, the wool has been carded into a band ready for spinning in a small carding mill in Germany. Small traces of vegetable matter may occur in the band.
The wool is sold in units of 100 g. For large amounts or special wishes please contact me per email!
