High quality linen cloth with a high, yet balanced thread count in warp and weft is not easy to come by today, but it is necessary for recreating medieval counted work at the original scale.

The cloth is 160 cm wide and densely woven; it’s thus suitable for head coverings or undergarments. It is also an excellent base cloth for embroidery with fine linen, silk or gold thread. The cloth is ordered by the meter: 2 pieces means 2 meters of cloth.

Smaller pieces suitable for embroidery are listed as “Linen square, 20 threads per cm, dense weave”.
