Shipping to Netherlands possible due to de minimis threshold there!

Due to the new EU regulations on packaging waste, all other shipping into EU countries will still remain paused. Regulations were starting on August 12, 2026. The new regulations is valid for all vendors selling within the EU. There was a discussion in the EU committee on a threshold for small volumes or a memorandum on part of the rules, but unfortunately, it came to nothing.

If you are inconvenienced by this situation, my suggestion would be to write a short, polite, personal note about how you feel directly to the EU commissioner in charge of the department in question. Her name is Jessika Roswall, and you can find a contact email address on her webpage. If there is enough feedback from the public, maybe things will still change. Shipping is currently only available for Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Canada and other non-EU countries with the exception of the US and Great Britain.

These whorls are wheel-thrown and come in shapes close to those of finds from the High and Late Middle Ages. They are fired in an oxygenated environment, turning them into a dark brown, grey, a reddish colour or a light reddish-ochre (colour is due to the chemical components in the clay). Their weight is usually between 14 and 28 g, though there are also heavier and lighter whorls available. The full range is from just a few grams up to heavy whorls with about 60 or even 70 grams of weight.

If you would like a specific weight, colour, or shape, please tell me in the comments when ordering, I will then choose an appropriate whorl. If no weight range is stated in your order comment, your whorl will weigh between 16 and 18 g. If you order more than one whorl without giving wishes for weights, I will choose whorls with different weights for your set.

I am very sorry, but due to the Brexit regulations, I am not able to sell or ship to the UK anymore.

Unfortunately shipping to the US is currently also not possible!

Because of the new tariff regulations active now, DHL is currently not offering any affordable shipments to the US and the US tax zone of Puerto Rico. I am sorry and hope that this issue will be resolved soon; until then, ordering to an address in the USA is unfortunately not possible.
