Shipping to Netherlands possible due to de minimis threshold there!

Due to the new EU regulations on packaging waste, all other shipping into EU countries will still remain paused. Regulations were starting on August 12, 2026. The new regulations is valid for all vendors selling within the EU. There was a discussion in the EU committee on a threshold for small volumes or a memorandum on part of the rules, but unfortunately, it came to nothing.

If you are inconvenienced by this situation, my suggestion would be to write a short, polite, personal note about how you feel directly to the EU commissioner in charge of the department in question. Her name is Jessika Roswall, and you can find a contact email address on her webpage. If there is enough feedback from the public, maybe things will still change. Shipping is currently only available for Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Canada and other non-EU countries with the exception of the US and Great Britain.

There are many different ways of preparing or winding the weft thread for making narrow wares - from the simple shortish end to the butterfly to a form of shuttle, which can be a simple stick. The "iconic form" offered here is, unfortunately, not documented securely for the Middle Ages, so it may well be a later development.

If, however, you prefer this form and are looking for a small, light version that can simply hang from the warp thread (not suitable to be used for beating), this is just the weaving shuttle for you!

The shuttle is about 6 cm long (short version) or 10-12 cm long (long version) and about 2 cm wide.

I am very sorry, but due to the Brexit regulations, I am not able to sell or ship to the UK anymore.

Unfortunately shipping to the US is currently also not possible!

Because of the new tariff regulations active now, DHL is currently not offering any affordable shipments to the US and the US tax zone of Puerto Rico. I am sorry and hope that this issue will be resolved soon; until then, ordering to an address in the USA is unfortunately not possible.
