You know...

... it will be a weird week when somehow Monday feels like Friday already. So even though I technically know it's Tuesday today, it feels like Friday-which-should-already-have-been-yesterday. So it should be Saturday today, but since it was a false Friday yesterday, it only shifted one day.

I wonder how the rest of the week will be like if it starts like that? Time will tell. For now, though, everything might be better with a cat picture:

Be Thankful

Just be thankful that you were never a 24/7 shift worker. The concepts of 'day' and 'night' are just suggestions. Days of the week only exist in so far as 'Oh, there is no early/late train or bus today, I'll have to walk for an hour or three'. I was there for very close to 30 years, its a young person's game

I've had a teeny tiny taste of that when helping to run a charcoal kiln! It's a very fast and efficient way to totally knock your perception of day and night. That was fun to do as a young'un on kind of a holiday, but quite enough of an experience to know that it's not for me. I'm always amazed that some people manage do this for years, let alone decades!
