All getting ready to knot!

Prep for the Textile Forum is going on, and that includes also looking at bits and bobs I would like to bring - including some literature. Now, my book stash is not very heavy on knots (though the Most Patient Husband of Them All has a few books about knots, which I intend to bring), but there's an article come to my attention recently that is about a piled weave textile - and the pile has been knotted in.

You can have a glimpse at the article, and at the absolutely fascinating textile find, here at the EXARC online journal site: https://exarc.net/issue-2026-3/rev/borgund-curly-pile-textile-reconstruction
