I have seen you say few times that "no textile ever is finished before it's been wet and dried again...

Hah. Blocking.

Now, finally, after hanging out for a while, they have been soaked and patted in form and stuck with pins:

My very first sweater. Once it's dry, I get to sew it together (exciting!) and then I'll get to find me some nice buttons for it. Yay!

(It's Vignette, modified a bit regarding the fit.)

That mat is the typical playmat, from the typical source - a drugstore, actually, which also has lots of other stuff these days. And as incredible as it sounds, the cat has not yet sat on it! But then, with the fine weather today, she has spent most of the time outside...

As soon as I saw this,my thirst thought was, she also didn't spend money on those expensive official blocking mats. My second thought was wow, in Germany they have them with letters, not just numbers. ;^D

You will get to see one... as soon as it is actually finished. Yes, I'm slow! I have done the last bits of seaming together yesterday, and there are a few last ends to weave in. And then I need buttons...
